Thread: 1910 Census

I can't find two people. I'm trying to find Anne/Annie Waldron, listed as Anne in 1901 census, Annie in the passenger list, she arrived in 1909 so she should be in the 1910 census. She was born in 1883 and may be with a Hannah/Anne Clynes/Clein who was living in Manhattan in 1900 and in Hudson, New Jersey in 1920. Hannah's nephew listed her address as being Jersey City in his WW1 draft card.

Was Annie Waldron deffinately on the passenger list in 1909 and not 1900 . Do you have a middle initial for her ?

Did Annie travel with her family to America if so who were her parents, sibblings.

Where was she born England or Ireland ?

Where and when was Hannah/Anne Clynes/Clein born ?

Thank you both for replying. Anne was born in Ireland and arrived Oct 25, 1909 she traveled alone and has no middle name. She gave Hannah's address as New York.



Hannah was born in Ireland in 1855 but when she arrived in 1896 she gave her age as 20 (1866 birth), 1900 census she gave her birth year as 1874, she arrived in the UK with her employer in July 1901 (she's just listed as maid) but returned in 1903 on the 1920 census she gave her birth year as 1873.

She gives her year of immigration as 1890 in both census yet she arrived in 1896.

This might be your Annie but it gives no date of entry to the US.

Thanks Noggin, I had those census' for Hannah. Josefa Osborn is the person she traveled to England and back with 1901-1903.



I guess that census is probably Annie, I was really expecting her to be in New York or New Jersey but Rhode Island isn't too far away.
