It would have helped if you had stated what was on the marriage cert:



James Joseph Chester age 31 Widower occ Skipper 69 Daubney Street, Cleethorpes, Fathers name and Occ unknown.



A) he was previously married, Who was the first wife and any children

B) if he did'nt know who is father was it will be difficult to trace, it might not even be on his birth cert if you could find it.

C) is Chesters his mothers name?
