Thread: Morrison & Thomson Lookup Please.

Can anyone find any information on these two people for me please, parents etc ? I know it's not a lot of information to go on, all I know is that they had a daughter -Mary Munro Thomson Morrison born 09/10/1906 at 28 Kelly Street Greenock

Starlight, thank you very much for your help. I have a baby buried with my grandparents and I'mtrying to find a link between them. this is the baby and parents -

Peterina Henderson Thomson McGregor McAulay (as spelled on D C) died 6/10/32 at Greenock aged 1 month.

Father Archibald McAulay Shipyard Labourer.

Mother Mary Thomson Morrison widow of Thomas Jenkins, Shipyard Labourer,

Death Registered by her mother. who signed Mary Jenkins.

Cause of death Acute Gastric Enteritis.



She is buried with William Sime who died 14-03-1926 and Sarah Jane Gray who died 04-03-1954 and Alexander Speirs Ferguson who died 13-04-1955 (All in Greenock). Sarah was the Lair Owner but I can't find a connection to the baby to find out why she was buried with them.

Hi Ardnas,



I don't think that you will find a connection from doing the census as the 1911 census for Scotland is not out yet. The baby could have been born out of wedlock or even not related at all. I can't think of anything else other than looking at the records at the records office.

Do you still want the rest of the information on the others ?
