Where did you get the reference for that marriage as I can't see it on Freebmd or Ancestry or familysearch? Do you have Catherine's maiden name?
On my grandparents marriage certificate they were both witnesses to the marriage.
I am now wondering if they were in fact a brother and sister and were witnessing William`s daughter`s marriage [Rosina Margaret Clark] which took place on 25;12;1904
Hi,
A William Frederick Clark was married in 1880 at St Saviour. The two possible brides were Elizabeth Mary Apps, or Lizzie Rose E Skilbeck.
What does the marriage cert say for William's occupation?
Carpenter

In that case, this could be them in 1891. William was a carpenter/joiner and born Bethnal Green. His wife was born in Plymouth. Note Rosina had a sister named Kate, maybe she was Catherine who witnessed Rosina's marriage.

Same family in 1901. Both Williams' carpenters. Rose and Kate were cardboard box makers.
