Default Fred Hird Marriage in Massachusetts

    Hello everyone,

I am trying to find a Marriage between a Fred Hird and a Veronica...Surname (?). I believe the Marriage would be between 1910 and 1920.

Fred was born in 1881, Haworth, Yorkshire.

In both 1910 & 1920 USA Censuses Fred was living in Worcester Massachusetts.

If anyone can help with this marriage information or any children for Fred and Veronica it would be very much appreciated.

    Hi Audrey,

I cannot see any Massachusetts marriages on-line after about 1850.

    Hi Audrey

Not found his marriage record yet, but can I ask if he was called Fred Thomas Hird?

Just checked him out on the census and I think I have the right Fred!

Just thought it might be worth noting that on WW1 draft card 1917-1918 for Fred Thomas Hird B: 28 Nov. 1880 living Worcester Massachusetts - Superintendent Olney Woollen Mills - he states that his wife is Veronica Gertrude Hird - so that narrows it down to them getting married between 1910-1917.

    Hello Geniegenie,

Thanks to Starlight I have Fred Hird in the 1910-1920-1930 USA Censuses.

In 1910 - Fred is Fred Hird.

In 1920 - Fred is Fred T Hird.

Also in 1930 - Fred is Fred T Hird.

I am not sure at all if Fred's middle name was Thomas, but it could have been. Fred's Mother was Mary nee Harrison and Mary's Father's name was Thomas. Fred had a sister Eleanor.

    Thank you,

    AudreyJP
