Thread: George Edward Hucker

Hi, I am looking for the birth of George Edward Hucker. He was born about 1877 in Portishead, Somerset. His mum was Eliza, born in Pembrokeshire in 1843. In the 1881 census, they were in Okehampton workhouse and she was a widow by then, and that is all I have. Any help would be greatly apprecaited.

There is no likely birth on Freebmd.



I cannot see a baptism on www.familysearch.org nor indeed can I see him in 1881.



Can you give us the reference?

Have found Geo Edward Hucker and mother Eliza in 3 rooms at 1, Rose Mary Row, Okehampton in 1891:

In 1901 Census George is living in South Taunton, Devon, with his wife and baby son

This might be elder brother William's birth registration
