I'm looking for more info on Otto and his date of death. Not sure if he died in England. He was married to Edith A Eaton, who died in 1915. He had a daughter, Edith C Graeff, who married Leonard Wallis. Would like to find more info on the Wallis family as above.

Cannot find death in England

Thank you for the record. Yes, I also can't find a death record. Maybe he went back to Germany??? I wonder how one would be able to search German records online....if it is at all possible???

An interesting observation:- Why would Emily Joseph be listed as a son, maybe it should be Emil Joseph???

I have worldwide subscription to Ancestry but unfortunately the only record for Otto is his marriage - no death or immigration record. Will have a check on my German sources tomorrow

I have checked the Death Index right from 1911 - 1979 and no death recorded for Otto - I'm afraid - so unless he died at an age greater than 100 it looks like he did indeed go abroad.



Does the info that Starlight posted from the 1911 census "Hadderslow Slessing, Danish" suggest that he was born in Denmark rather than Germany?
