Thread: Quakers Yard, Glamorgan

I am trying to locate 31 Windsor Road, Quakers Yard, Glamorgan. In 1911 my wife's Grandfather, William James Morris Warner and his wife Annie Elizabeth Warner (nee Gunter) lived there.

If the numbers have remained the same I wanted to be able to see it using Google Earth, or get some photos of the old house if it still there.

For the same reason I would like to locate 3 Railway Terrace, Treharris, where her father, Edward James Frederick Warner was born in 1912. According to maps, the two houses were close to each other.

Any help would be most appreciated.

You can locate both of these addresses and view them in satellite mode in Google maps.



If you use the directions facility you will find that the 2 houses are 1 mile from each other - just a 4 minute walk.

Many thanks for that, but I am very sceptical about how accurate the arrows are. I have looked up other stuff before and found the arrow to be well off. What I was hoping was that someone may live in the area and could pinpoint the actual house for me.

You may have to find another number (google earth isn't accurate like tht) and then count down or up to find the right place.
