Looking for information on the parents of both Peter (Patrick) Haggart & Janet McNaughton they were wed in 1818 at Killin Perthshire Scotland,any help please.

Head: Peter HAGGART 58, Labourer, b Killin

Wife: Janet HAGGART 56, b Killin

Dau: Janet HAGGART 13, b Aberfoyle, Perthshire



So looks as if Peter/Patrick born abt 1793 and Janet abt 1795



Possible for Peter in 1861:



1861: Sen---irk, Dunblane, Perthsire

parish 248, ED 4, pg 7

Servant: Peter HAGGART 70, Shepherd, b Killin



Need to check the original 1861 on Scotlands People to see if this Peter was a widower? If it is him, then since a death occurs after 1855 the death cert should name his parents.

I see you have a Tree on Ancestry and name Peter's parents as James HAGGARTand Betsy McNAB? Also there is a son named Peter (of Peter and Janet).



Have you got a full list of their children - the pattern may give some clues as to Janet's parents (IGI has a possible in Killin christened 1791 to parents Peter McNAUGHTON and Christian McNAB).
