Hi
IGI: Children listed for Janet McNAUGHTON and Peter HAGGART.
Janet HAGGART chr 4 Dec 1818 Killin
John HAGGART chr 221 Mar 1828 Aberfoyle
Christian HAGGART chr 15 May 1830, Aberfoyle
Duncan HAGGART chr 23 Mar 1832 Aberfoyle
Isabella HAGGART chr 1 May 1834 Aberfoyle
Possibly approx 4 children missing from this list (the gap btw Janet and John).
1841: Ruskie Village or Hamlet, Port of Monteith, Perthshire
Parish 338 , ED 5, pg 2
Janet HAGGART 45, - Y
Duncan HAGGART 9 - Y
Isabella HAGGART 7 - Y
Janet HAGGART 3 - Y (she may have been named for the janet b 1818 who may have died young)
1851:Little Mills - Parish of Kincardine, Perthshire
Parish: 364, ED 1a, Page 10
Head: Peter HAGGART 58, Labourer, b Killin
Wife: Janet HAGGART 56, b Killin
Dau: Janet HAGGART 13, b Aberfoyle, Perthshire
So looks as if Peter/Patrick born abt 1793 and Janet abt 1795
Possible for Peter in 1861:
1861: Sen---irk, Dunblane, Perthsire
parish 248, ED 4, pg 7
Servant: Peter HAGGART 70, Shepherd, b Killin
Need to check the original 1861 on Scotlands People to see if this Peter was a widower? If it is him, then since a death occurs after 1855 the death cert should name his parents.
Cheers

I see you have a Tree on Ancestry and name Peter's parents as James HAGGARTand Betsy McNAB? Also there is a son named Peter (of Peter and Janet).
Have you got a full list of their children - the pattern may give some clues as to Janet's parents (IGI has a possible in Killin christened 1791 to parents Peter McNAUGHTON and Christian McNAB).
Cheers
