Hi All

I have been researching my family for a few months now and getting on good but I have hit a brick wall with a Peter Thorpe born 1860 in Neilston Scotland

I have been told by a other member of the Thorpe family that he went to a Australia but that all I have to go on I don't know what ship or what part of Australia He went to I know he must have left beween 1881 and 18891 as I have a cenus in 1881 in Scotland and I can't find him in Scotland on 1891 census

Where can I look ?

any help I would be so greatful
