    Hi Roberto

Possibly no connection at all, but the name PARDOE stood out

Don't you think thats a lovely sounding name?

Well on my hubbys tree his grt grt gran was a PARDOE her parents being William Pardoe & Charlotte Radford. They were from the Worcester area, afore they moved up to Sheffield.

Where does the PARDOE link into your tree? Maybe we may have a connection? I would assume that he has the PARDOE as a middle name from his grannys maiden name??

Lozzie, I am not at home just at this moment but i will get back to you with my Pardoe connection. They were from the Kidderminster, Worcestershire area. It is a very distant connection which i maintain due to a cousin's interest. Roberto

    Hello Roberto,
I have just found your request for a William Pardoe Parmenter. I know this was some time ago but I am wondering if you are researching the Parmenter family from Bewdley which includes:-

John Parmenter married Susan PARDOE (I don't have a date)
They had a son John William b. 1852 He married Elizabeth (Hobbs) b.1852 died 13.3.1895

They had several children including - William b.1874 died 1877 Ann Elizabeth b.1877 died 1879
Edith (known as Ada) - married Thomas Henry Bath
    Edward Charles
Francis Lucy - married Albert Danby
    Laura b.1885 died 1904
Dinah b. 1888 married Thomas Walker (my maternal grandparents)
William b.1893 later known as Marshall

If any of the above 'ring any bells' perhaps you would be kind enough to let me know.

    Thank you.
    Kind regards

Thank you Noggin 28 for your reply. I'm new to this site and am not sure how it operates. Is there a facility to send a private message to people as there is on Roots Chat?

I have William Pardoe Parmenter on the 1891 census as the eldest son of Charles Pardoe Parmenter (my gr.gr.uncle (I think) It is Roberto who is searching for William's family. I wanted to know if Roberto was researching the same family. It was 1906 when he posted the request so I don't suppose he checks the site now; hence my query regarding private messages.

Again thank you for your reply, much appreciated .

    Kind regards
