hi all



my gran was maragret elsie davy 1932-1975 born chelsea/kensington..i know i had a great auntie doll who lived in chelsea area and she had a daughter i believe from worlds end chelsea.

i would like to know more about my gran..parents ,sisters etc



my grandad was thomas william minter 1907-1976..my gran and nan lived in chelsea area and came to slough later on.



i would be grateful for any help

The time period you are looking at is after the latest released census, so the sources you need would be birth and death and marriage certificates for your grandparents, and then things like electoral rolls, street directories etc.

As this is within living memory it would be worth trying to track down any living relatives, no matter how distant, as they may well have the info you seek (not to mention a lot lot more). I'd plague all the current relatives for any snippets, look at wedding photos and ask who is this etc, looking for 2nd cousins etc. Its especially worth looking for the girls as they tend to have the family info whereas the boys don't seem as interested, by and large.

It might also pay you to post on the Counties and surnames of interest forums. These are picked up by people that google the names and you might get contacts that way.
