You don't say where you are but to go back further you really need to consult the parish records. Not just the baptism, marriage and burial registers but any settlement papers etc too.

There may be someone out there researching the same tree but the chance that they belong to this site and might look in while your thread is still fresh is a bit remote.



You could try googling "Collison genealogy". iIve found a few websites this way set up by people researching various branches of my family tree.
