Thread: 1901 look up request please

Hi,

I am trying to find my grandfather Frederick William Williams in 1901 census. I have his birth year/s as 1891/2 from his marriage certificate. At the time of marriage he was living in Stoke Newington, Shoreditch and I have been told he worked in the Bovril factory in Shoreditch for many years until his death. His father was also called Frederick William Williams and was a French Polisher.

The most recent information I have found out was that he had ONE BROTHER but I don't have a name for his brother.

Can someone help please?

The only Frederick William Williams in the 1911, who father is also a Frederick William Willaims has a sister, not a brother, unless he has left home!

Thanks to both of you for your replies, but neither of them look right unfortunately. I think he must have been born somewhere else (i.e. on the outskirts of London maybe) and not Shoreditch (Bovril factory)where he worked, eventually married local girl and continued to live in Clapton, London. I think at time of marriage that he may have been lodging with his wife to be's family, because his address is same as bride's on marriage certificate.
