You may find the National Army Musem is able to help with identification.
Hi,
I would advise posting this at http://1914-1918.invisionzone.com/forums/
I've found the members there to be very helpful and as it's specific to WW1, I would imagine they'd be able to give you the correct answer.
(Though you never know, somebody here may be able to help too!).
Hi
The Middlesex Regiment looks reasonably promising, as it shows having the Prince of Wales Feathers, as in your photograph.

Bear in mind that the Crown on badges changes with the monarch, and a Kings crown differs from a Queens crown. The collar badge seems to be an identical badge with a crown, rather than the feathers.

Thanks for your help most appreciated![]()
