Her mother eludes me.





I suspect a Suffolk marriage sometimes around 1845 as her parents, Joseph and Mary Ann have a 5 year old in 1851.

Both are consistant in stating they come from Bury St Ed and no fluctuation in their ages.

As you have the ref for Ada's birth, have you sent for the certificate? This should give you the mother's maiden name, which will make searching for her a little easier.

Here's a Mary Ann Mison, same place, year, and quarter, on page 603, if you look at the original image it's clearly 608. Could this be your missing Mary Ann?
