hi i have hit a brick wall with brian j everard born 1931 in orsett essex , then nothing .

I have found his birth in the indexes, his mother's maiden name was also Everard.

thats as far as i got slizzy but i carnt find anymore detail on him ie census records is he dead or is he still alive etc

Pete, census records for public viewing are only available up to 1911. So your search won't be easy. If you know where he's likely to be (if still alive) you could place an ad in the local paper, alternatively you could search the poll books for the area, other than that, there isn't really much else open to you. It's much more difficult tracing the living, the dead are easier
