Thread: Death of Thomas Wells

I am trying to find the death registration of my Gt Grandad Thomas Wells. He was born in 1858 in Worcester, and along with so many others, he moved his family to Birmingham.



His wife Jane Louisa Wells/Louisa Jane Wells (she changed the names around several times) died in 1911 in Waterloo Road, Smethwick. The family story is that he lived to a ripe old age, and died during the Second World War.



I have found a death registration for a Thomas Wells of the correct age in 1930 in Birmingham, and another one in the 1940's in Shardlow, but neither of them are him. The names and ages are correct, but the informants are not.



Any help with this elusive ancestor would be greatly appreciated.
