    Default Kneeshaw

I am trying to find the parents and siblings of my 2nd great grandfather, Robert Kneeshaw. All I know is that he was born in North Bierley and baptised in the Wibsey Parish Church September 7, 1813

There is a Robert Kneshaw on the IGI on familysearch who was christened :

07 SEP 1813 Wibsey, Yorkshire, England

    with a father John

There are a couple of marriages in Easingwold which i believe is Yorkshire one in 1854 and one in 1854 which could be him.

I assume he had children in which case a B/C would give you the name of both parents and therefore you would know when you have found the right marriage.

The M/C of course could also confirm his fathers name.

Have you fouind him on any of the census ?

in 1881 there is a Robert Kneeshaw married to Anna both ages 67 and living with a son Milfred 30 , daughter in law Ada 22 and a son Thomas 28.

Living at Long Wall Side, North Bierley, Yorkshire

I know Robert was married to a wonam named Hannah. I don't know her last name or where and when they were married, but their first child was born in 1834 (George). In all, they had 10 children. I have all the census returns.

To know for sure what Hannah's surname was I would suggest getting the B/C of one of the children ( They had a few to chose from ! ) . pick the one with the most uncommon name.

    There is a possible marriage in 1862 MAlton 9d 461 March Q.

The 2 brides names are Hannah Foster and Sarah Wilson.

But this date a quite a way after the birth of the first child that you named.
