hello im tracing my husbands family tree his grandad was a clifton victor gilbert d.o.b 14.11.1912 who married louisa maud churcher and his g grandad was richard charles gilbert he married somebody called winifred how do i find out her surname? they are from cornwall falmouth area thankyou for any help

It tells you next to Clifton's birth entry It was Coombs. They started putting mothers maidden names after 1911ish which makes life easier.

louisa maud churcher d.o.b 17.7.1912 had 2 brothers and a sister



ruth churcher

bernard churcher he died of polio

and frederick charles churcher 1922 he got killed in ww2



would it be possible for you to get any info on these they lived cornwall falmouth are

their parents were cornelius frederick churcher and jenetta maud not sure of her maiden name

Right Cornelius F married Janetta M Johns June quarter 1912 Torrington 5b1095 looks like they had to get married, get back to you on others. What fantastic names beats Wilson and Baker like mine.

Lydia R A Sept 1913 Falmouth 5c258 who I would suggest is Ruth

Frederick C March 1922 Falmouth 5c222

William B M June 1923 Falmouth (maybe Bernard)

The gap is obviously the war, did you know Lousia was born in Plymouth, see what I can find on Frederick.

I don't know how far back you are with Cornelius or Janetta but was she from Wales I'm curious about the name, and I can't find Cornelius birth etc thought Frederick might be the first name.

hiya ive just got to cornelius and janetta ive just phoned my mother in law and she said she not sure but everyone who has middles names used them in stead of first she cant remember anything about janetta or cornelius
