Thread: Edward Trash and Clara marriage look up

Hello, i am really stuck to find the marriage of Edward William Trash (born 1859 in Lewes, Sussex). He is listed in the 1891 census as living with his wife Clara and their children Elizabeth (b1879) and George (b1881) in Lewes brighton sussex and then in 1901 they are living in London, however i cannot find a marriage record on Free BMD or ancestry or LDS family search. I have tried a 20 year search around the dates the eldest child was born and i have also tried William Edward Trash as well as william edward trash.. I have also tried the spelling Trosh as this was sometimes used by some of the family, however with no luck. All i know of clara is what i have seen on the census records and that she was born in Portsmouth. If anyone out there has any ideas on where i am going wrong i would be grateful as i cannot find this marriage anywhere. i am quite new to family tree and would appreciate any help with this marraige look up. Have you got any birth certs with Clara's maiden name might help the search.

Oh of course!!! i hadn't thought of that, so sorry!!!!!! i was so compltely fixated on trying to get the marriage certificate reference, i completely ignored the obvious! yes, i will order the birth certificates, i have had the references for the births for a whiile and so will order the certs. thanks a lot,
