Thread: Birmingham Death look-up 1872

I would very much appreciate a look up for the death of Sarah EDMONDS/EDMUNDS, probably in the St.Thomas area of Birmingham in 1872.

I've found a SARAH EDMONDS age 24 Sep 1872 Birmingham 6d 99 on Free BMD. Could this be her?

Yes, I've seen that and it could well be, except that she had a daughter, born in London but baptised in Birmingham, in 1874, whose age is given in subsequent censuses as 7 and 17. When I managed to get to B'ham Library in December the film for deaths in the relevant period didn't actually go as far as 1872/4. They promised to rectify this but I am in the south of England and can't get back.



Sarah and her husband had moved from B'ham and were in London in 1871. She had family in Windmill Hill, B'ham, so it's possible she was staying with them?
