    HI

There should be some information in the cemetrey records.....but not quite sure what.

    The marriage ref is:

Derrick C HEELEY & Margaret MURPHY

    Sep Qtr 1951 Rother V 2c 1726

I will have a look to see if the child was registered

There doesn't appear to be a child registered on the GRO for that time period. I am no expert in this area, but I would assume a stillbirth and am not sure what the requirements of registering are for them.

Here is the link to ROtherham Council grave searches

    http://www.rotherham.gov.uk/graphics...e+Searches.htm

If you are unable to go , there may be a small charge for looking up the info you need, although now you have a definate time period it shouldnt take them long. At least they are worth a phone call.

    Good Luck with your search

    Thanks for the Great Help

have Checked up on our Still births Registration... it sasy that you have to register them within 40 something Days... they cannot be registered after that.... It mentioned that mum and dad or just mum had to register baby... although whether there are Exceptions to this Rule i Dont know Seeing as Mum was Dead and Dad did a runner.... will have to wait and see what rotherham burial Office say on that one i think.
