Thread: Help Finding Levi Goodison

Im hoping somebody could help me find details of a missing ancestor.

Levi Goodison was born 1871 in Stannington, Yorkshire.

He married Mona Rains in 1893. I have him in all the census up to 1901 but there's no sign of him after this.

I can't find a death for either of them or any children!

Any idea's on a different spelling to use in 1911 or would somebody mind checking births and deaths for me.

Yorkshire is not yet available on 1911 census which probably explains why you can't find them.



As for deaths, they haven't been fully transcribed yet, so its a tedious job of checking every quarter of every likely year that he may have died, checking Wills, or looking for burials.

The West Riding of Yorkshire is definitely available - as far as I'm aware Stannington is in the West Riding, therefore if Levi was still alive he should be on the 1911 unless he lived elsewhere?



North and East ridings of Yorkshire should be available soon.

As far as i know the area he lived in should be available as ive found most of my ancestors already. Just found it odd that nothing is coming up for a death for him or his wife!!
