Thread: John Walden marriage ????

I can't find a marriage between John Walden & Mary (surname unknown unless it's Walden as well)

They are on the 1851 census with their two children... Tom Walden aged 3 & Kate Walden aged 1 in St Mary's, Southampton... so I was presuming that they married between 1835 (when John would have been about 17) & 1848... just before Tom was born.

John was born c1818 Christchurch, Hants & Mary c1813 Milton, Hants ~

Any help would be great...

This site is a good soure of pre 1837 baptisms, marriages and burials for Hampshire.

If you're having trouble tracking down the marriage might be worth getting the BC of one the children then you have her maiden name



There is a KATE WALDEN Born DEC Q 1849 Southampton which could be their daughter
