Thread: Norway to England passengers

I have tried on another thread with this one but with no joy was wondering if anyone cld help me please. Wld like help in trying to find out when my 2x gr grandfather came to England his name is Otto Ferdinand Jansen b 1835 norwary he married in 1860 Dec qtr in Hartlepool died 1881 June qtr South Shields dropped the Otto and was known as Frederick any help wld be great, also if he came across with others i.e. parents, siblings etc. Thank you so much. If not plse tell me where i can look

How wld i find out how he came from norway to england Jeuel any help wld be appreciated

I don't think you can if the records don't exist. But I imagine he would have come by sea!

I suppose its possible there are records in Norway, don't know how you'd access them. Try Cyndi's List.

If he was naturalised you might find something in the National Archives. If you go to
