Thread: ecclesiatical parish

Hi All

I'm rather new to this and am having problems with ecclesiastical parishes in the Manchester area for 1851. Does any one know of a list where I can find out which parish is where?

Also I think my great,great,great granddad married again between the censuses of 1861+1871,but I don't know where i can search the deaths and marriages for this time.

My family name is Hamnett and if any one has any info on them in the Manchester area I would be grateful.

In addition to all this my mothers family name is See,any ideas anyone?

Thanks Helen I'll give it a try.It would help if my family had a bit more imagination,they're all called Charles,William or Thomas!
