Looking for Ann Poulter

Hi all Listners

Am desperately seeking:

Ann Poulter c1821, (this seems to be the one)

who married a Thomas Stewart and had a son George Stewart b between 1844 and 1848. These names are recorded on George's death cert. George being my ggrandfather who immigrated to South Arica.

Also have an Ann Poulter b 1826 Middlesex, cant find more on her either!!

Am trying to sort out George's ancestors, hope someone can help!!

Seeking Ann's parents, siblings, anything i can get on her.

Thanks for the quick reply.

This is the one I have, but am uncertain if it's the correct Ann Poulter as I dont have any correct dates to work with. Also dont have any parent's or siblings for her.

According to my ggrandfathers death cert he was 40 yrs and 9 mths old on 6 Aug 1888. The parents are listed as Thomas Stewart and Ann Polter (diff spelling). Gives the birth place as Surrey.

Please help to get some clarity on this.

What is his fathers occupation on his birth cert, that might give you a clue.

Found likely baptism for eldest 1841 child Sarah

Birth: 18 MAR 1840

Christening: 19 DEC 1841 Saint Luke Old Street, Finsbury, London, England

Father: THOMAS STEWART Family Mother: ANN

We haven't been able to obtain one as we're uncertain of the date. A cousin found a date 2 Mar 1848 but yet to be proved.Thanks again.

If Sarah is indeed the sister, then George 1844 is the correct one. Please see if we can get more on Ann Poulter.
