    Hi Gibbos

    Very Irish!!

It would appear that she originally lived next door and was the child of Richard.

It would also appear that Richard was an Irish policeman as I am unable to find him in 71 in England.

As all the children were born in Ireland, it is possible that the family had only come over during the 70s.

No sign of the marriage on Ancestry

    hi,

Can't find a marriage for them. Is it possible that they were married in Ireland before they came to England?

i had found jane's parents a couple weeks ago had been living next door to her and daniel after i had been looking for them for months and they were right under my nose the whole time. i am beginning to think that maybe jane and daniel had never married???? i have had a muck on some irish heritage sites but i cant find a marriage there neither, i found the sites a bit confusing and not knowing where they would have lived made it harder. thanks to both of you for having a look for me

I originally thought that the marriage was in Ireland.

We have assumed she is the daughter of Richard, but she could well be a niece.

I assume you got the Delaney name from a child's birth Cert.

I agree that she may well never have married!! Don't judge her too hard!! However, if she lived next door, how on earth did she manage to get away with it???????
