I am trying to find the parents of Walter Henry Lock born abt 1893 London



Walter came to Australia,

Henry Walter Lock Apr - Jun 1890 Marylebone London

Walter Henry Lock Apr - Jun 1890 St Saviour Southwark London

I believe his name was Walter Henry Lock, does the one born in 1890 in St, Saviour Southwark London give the parents names, as i think they were William Lock and Ellen Elizabeth

Unfortunately the birth indexes don't give parents names - you would need to buy the certificate to find their names. I'll take a look on the census returns to see if they can be found there..

Kennington (where the above Walter was born) was in the LAMBETH registration district, maybe Walter was registered as Henry Walter but known as Walter?

I was hoping you might be able to find the marriage of his Parents

William Henry Lock to Ellen Elizabeth possibly around 1885to 1887



the census in 1901 says Elizabeth Lock was 38 Born Lambeth London



and William Lock Head. 34 Born Westminister London Clerical Wire Man



any information for this family would be of great help to me, i have their deaths and marriages here in Australia



I also would like info of when they came to Australia, i think it was around 1912,
