please cld someone be so kinds as to look up a marriage for me (i am not a subscriber) Joseph Ormston married Ann ? 1839 Alnwick have looked on free bmd but it only has his name and not his spouse wld greatly appreciate the information if at all possble. If found wld it by any chance have their parents on.

Are you sure the names/dates/place are correct as I cannot find a Joseph Ormston marrying in Alnwick in 1839. If you find the entry and click on the page number you should get a list of the people married there in that quarter. If you are very lucky there will be only one Ann.

Hi Sharon, the only way to get the parents name is by buying the certificate.



I cross referenced Joseph Ormson Apr - Jun qrt 1839 Alnwick, unfortunately there are three possible Ann's.

The James Ormston that married in June 1839 may have a mistake with the place of transcription on BMD. If you look, he is the only one in the list not registered in Alnwick.



If you put a search with no name for June 1839 in Alnwick, every Ann apart form



SMITH AnnAlnwick 252[2_]7



has the correct number of people o the page. The number of Ann Smith is wrong so could be her.
