Thread: BMD lookup

Is there someone who will do lookups? Searching for birth record

of Walter Cooke in 1881, Burton 6b p. 324 in BMD. THanks.

I have checked the birth register and there is no Walter Cooke born 1881 Burton with the volume/page reference 6b 234 and entering the name Walter Cooke and the vol/page into FreeBMD comes up with no result either. Where did you find the reference?

Emeltee is right there is no Birth record walter Cooke with the information you have. Even if there was - the reference numbers will only enable you to buy the Birth Cert to gain further information.

I got the information from the Free BMD website. I posted the wrong

page numbers by reversing numbers, so let me start over. 1883 in

Staffordshire: Walter James Cooke 6b p. 342 (not 324).

Why don't you just order the certificate from the GRO? That's the only way you will get to find out the information it contains.
