Thread: Warrington,Lancashire Parish Records look-up please?

Could any one do a lookup for me please?



I really need the birth certificate for Joseph Robinson born c.1832 in Warrington to John Robinson & Lucy Brady & ~to make sure it's the right Joseph ~ it would be great to also have his marriage certificate to Ellen Forster Q3 1856 Warrington (Vol8c Pg146).



If any one could help it would be great... John & Lucy Robinson could be my 4 x Great Grandparents ~ & if they're not then someone else is!

There is an entry for a baptism of a Joseph Robinson at St Elphin, Warrinton on 21 October 1832, son of John Robinson, occupation Iron Moulder and his wife Lucy.

The only way you will get a copy of the marriage certificate is to order it from the GRO

I am a new member of this site, and now have hopefully found another relative! Joseph Robinson b 1832 to John Robinson and Lucy nee Brady was one of 9 children. I am descendant from William b 1834, and I have contact with 2 other descendants from 2 of the other children. One clue is that most of the children followed John and became Iron moulders or similar. A few moved to Manchester and other areas where there were foundries. Also some of them went out to Australia ( where I live) and I think to America or Canada. I am very interested in following your line. Going back further is hard but we think John was born 1802 to James and Elizabeth. Lucy's parents were Edward and Alice.

... which only makes seven... who are the other two & do you have any other info on any of the family?

Alice b 1839 Warrington - have nothing further on her.

Henry b 1841 Warrington d 1914 Manchester m Catherine Sankey 1862

Have further info on him and a contact.

James b abt 1844 Warrington d aft 1901 m Mary Jane Spencer

Have got a little more on him but no contact as yet.
