A Joannis Caviner on church record born in Ireland in around 1751 to 1763 came to England around 1775 80 got married in the Nidd Valley Ripon around 1790 moved to Hunslet Leeds 10 in or about 1791-2 had child named Thomas Caviner in 1793 had daughter named Maria Caviner in 1795 the name is in fact Cavanagh/Kavanagh the named above Joannis is in fact John Cavanagh, but the church record shows him to be named Caviner because it's written in lattin of the time and they couldn't spell our name back then, it's extreamly important to me to find a baptizem record for this John who is said by the records office in Doublin to have originated in Carlow, and may well be the John that disapeared from the house of Boris in the year 1775 and was never seen again in Ireland this was at the time that the English were persecuting the Catholics of Ireland so it's possible for John's parents to have been captured or killed, that or they were the just thrown from their property or had to change their religion to C of E these C/Kavanagh's were the family that had been the King's of Leinster and of all Ireland, and it is indeed from this line that I originate as do many or most of the King's and queen's of England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales this through the Lineage of Eva Kavanagh and her Husband Richard Fitzgilbert De Clare Earl of Clare and of Pembroke Wales, Eva was the sister to Donel Kavanagh in the early part of the 12th century, the first to bare the name Kavanagh, was Donel and he was the son of Diarmaite MacMurchadah.
