im looking for information on adelaide falks who was a domestic servant of mile end old town london she had a boy june 1907 archie guy im trying to find out about her family ie her parents ad possable who archies dad was

Have you got Archie's birth cert? If there's no dad listed, then I guess you could try checking parish baptism registers, or seeing if there was a maintenance order - this would be in the quarter sessions records at the relevant archives.



I can't see Adelaide in the censuses. Do you have any other information about her? Was Falks her maiden name?

Hi yes i do have the birth cert no name was given his mother adelaide falks dnt know if it was her married or madian name all i know is archie or guy as i new him was a cousin of my grandad and some where they changed the spellingto falks instead of faulkes unless it was my side that change it

If the birth cert states mother's name as Falks on its own, then she wasn't married. If she was married it would say "Falks [formerly Bloggs or whatever her maiden name was].



I cannot see a likely birth for Adelaide Faulks/Falks/ or other variants nor a likely Adelaide in 1901.
