Thread: Look Up: William Walmsley b 1848 Please

Sorry guys but I've come up against a brickwall.

I'm looking for info on William Walmsley born March Qrt 1848 in Sutton Cheshire. He married Elizabeth Anderson in Dec Qrt 1870 at Sutton St James.

Elizabeth died in Dec Qrt 1877 leaving 3 young children with their Grandma and Grandpa Anderson but no sign of their father William.

I haven't found him on census records after 1871. There are 2 possible deaths.

1. born 1848 died 1873 Skipton.

2. born 1847 died 1878 Blackburn



However I don't think either of these are him, as there's William W's. on the 1871 census born Blackburn and Skipton areas. Maybe he moved abroad?
