Thread: how do I view parish records online?

the particular records I want to view are held by the norwich records office.west bradenham parish C1700 re Hunt family.I've got file numbers etc from LDS but can't view unless I get them to do a search at a fee.I know nothing comes free these days but is there another way to continue my research,any suggestions welcomed,Nick.

Parish register transcripts on line are rather patchy. The best way is to order the film you want at your local LDS centre OR to go to the relevant archives, which will also have much more worth searching.



Googling the name of the parish and "parish registers" or "baptisms" etc may find what you want, but generally such sites are limited by dates or areas or because they've been done by someone searching their own family, surname.
