Thread: Daisy Georgina Watts 1901 census

I can't find Daisy Georgina Watts in the 1901 census.. can any one help? I have her on the 1911 census so she is about somewhere!

Born I think in 1900 Q4 Fulham, but her birth is on the 1911 census as Nottinghill, so her exact birth has to be verified, she is with her Grandparents Susan & Charles Mason in the 1911 census in Dunmow Essex.

I think her mother is Elizabeth Barrick (b.Q2 1873 Dunmow) & her father possibly Robert Watts (but definately Watts).

Any help would be great.

Kirst, I've found a Daisy Watts as being born in 1901 in Oxon Forest Gate.

Her mother is Elizabeth Watts, born in Oxon Banbury and her father is Albert Watts, born in Plymouth. He was a coachman domestic.

Hi Welsh lady & Flood, Elizabeth was born in Dunmow Essex & was only about 27 at the tme of the 1901 census coz she was born c 1874...

However I'm going to go back 10 years & look at 1891 to see if the Robert Watts on the 1901 census(aged 52) had a son called Robert ~ it would nake sense that a younger Robert named his 1st born after a family member i.e. his sister.Thanks for your help

Hi girls... thanks for the look up... If this message duplicates please accept my appoligies! Elizabeth would only have been about about 27 at the time of the 1901 census, she was born c1874, also she was born in Stebbing, Great Dunmow in Essex.

However, I'm going to follow the lead you gave me Weshlady, & see if the Robert Watts in your message had a son (not on his census sheet). If he did ~ it would make sense for him to name his 1st born after a family member ie. his sister. Any how... many thanks for looking for me.

I've come across many different spellings while doing my tree & it's many branches ~ but I'm the first to admit that it's usually one of my 'AA Angels' that finds the right one!
