I have researched back to Edmund Watkins born about 1792 he was a farmer Upper Gelligaer which is near Merthyr Tydfil WALES

The farm has been known as Cwmbargoed and other names over the years I would like to trace possibly where he was born and who his father was and further if possible ???
Next farmer was Thomas Watkins B.1776 who has a margaret watkins B.1781 lodging at farm in 1841
I have a Edmund Watkins B.1791 Thomas Watkins B.1776 Margaret Watkins B.1781 all born in lower forest hamlet district 17 who were their parents ????

Do you know when he died? If it was after 1841 have you found him on the census? Chances are he was born near Gelligaer so you'd need to check the parish baptism registers to find his parents.

I can't see him in 1851,61 or 71. Why do you think he died after 1861?
