Hello
William Halliman to Irene Nicholson March quarter 1933 10a 804, looks like they had to get married, I have found a few possible entries for William and Irene's births but I would by the marriage cert first it will give you ages and both fathers.
Shout if you need help

You really need to get certificates to find out more information, as this is well after the latest census (1911) to be released.
thank you kimmy for the response, i know they got married, but did mean you they HAD to get married? ie made to get married. I have problems getting to my local office for the certs, as i work full time, and have 3 children, so time is not on my side.....also how do you go about finding out about people who do not seem to have a birth cert, but managed to join the army somehow, false info ect, during the 1900s onwards? thanks trina.

Hi Trina,
It isn't necessary to visit a register office to get a certificate, they can be ordered online from the GRO. http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/
You mention someone not having a birth cert, is this person still alive? If they are no longer alive you can post details here ie. name, approx birthdate, place of birth and we can search the birth indexes to see if he/she can be found.
hi, the relative is john henry barker, born in 1901, on the 5th of june, in hammersmith, he died on the 17th 8th 1938, in an accident in plymouth dockyard, he was in the army i was told but joined using the name henry i think, but there seems to be no record of him or his parents on official papers............... he married my nan florence maud walker, and they had afew children, thanks trina.
They married Mar Q 1933 and there son William was born June Q 1933. Think thats what Kimmy meant when she said they had to get married.
Think your def going to need the marriage cert to find out more about William there's far too many to even hazard a guess.
For Irene Nicholson i found one born 1912 in Sunderland which looks promising. Parents were Thomas William Nicholson and Patience Barren.
Again this is only a guess.
