Passport Applications Look-ups Please

I would be so grateful if someone with access to the Register of Passport Applications could look up the following please -

I don't know what details you need but hope this covers everything.

Frederick James Head born abt. 1834 Eastbourne, Sussex

(Application period 1866-1882)

Frederick's four son's below are on the 1871 census so after this date

George Edward Head b. 1863 Eastbourne

Ernest Edmund Head b. 1865 Eastbourne

Wallace Head b. 1867 Eastbourne

Frank Rupert Head b. 1869 Eastbourne

Frederick Head b. abt. 1853 Ospringe, Kent

Application period 1900-1911

Theresa I have the surname Head in my Family Tree. My Great Great Great Grandmother,s Maiden name was head. My Great GreatGreat Grandfather was Joseph Plant.. They married in Woolwich 30/08/1838. My 3x times Great Grandmothers full maiden name was Maria Wright Head. Wright was her Mothers maiden name. Does any of this sound familier to you? I do have a copy of the Marriage Cert for 1838. William Head was my 4x Great Grandfather.

Hi Marion

I'm afraid I don't recognise any of your names. The only Maria Head I have was born abt. 1812 Eastbourne, parent's James Head and Martha Ellis. The family seems to have been in Eastbourne until the mid 1800's and then moved to the London area. Hope this helps?

HI Theresa.. Thanks for your reply.. Somewhere we could have a connection through our Head Ancestors. Some of mine came from Eastbourne and moved in later years to Woolwich Kent. William Head my 4 x times Great Grandfather was as profession a Cape Master.. As Joseph Plants Father served in the Cape Of Good Hope I think Cape Master must have something to do with that. (Royal Artilery) If your interested maybe we could search this out together??

Yes, I would be happy to search out a connection. Could you PM me with details of the Head's in Eastbourne, do you have a Head tree we could compare? My earliest one's are Baker's living Sea Side , then Millwright Engineer's.
