Here they are on the 1851 Star......should help finding Amelia's maiden name now you have her 1st husbands name.

I kept looking for his name and couldn't see where you had put it.



A Joseph died the same quarter as her second husband. So it looks like a certificate and parish records by the birth date of the first child on the 1851 census.

Earlier I found a Henry wi********* marriage in 1837 there was an amelia on the same page. I'll see if I can find it again. I've had no luck with the 1841.

If you read my post before I edited it wasn't Joseph, but Henry. I must be brain dead tonight Star...........think it's bed time.

I may be wrong but this looks like a possible birth (death) for them too. This would put their marriage before civil registration.

I'm brain dead too. I thought it said age 2 and just noticed it was part of the number.

Nothing's easy with 'your' Witted's Star is it? If only we could find them on the 1841.
