Trying to establish on the earlier censuses who Thomas' wife was and whether she is connected to my Wilds (if she's Ann born Wolverhampton, they probably are) and later censuses for the descendants.

I think it just needs a Mary to join them up. There is a birth registered at the same place as the death of the Ann I found but I cannot find her in 1861 to prove or disprove the connection. Maybe someone else can look and have more success than me.

Thanks Star! Definitely the ones I was looking for, but now doubtful as to whether they actually belong to me, as my Wilds were all from Wolverhampton... I don't have any records of them that far north...



Did it give any more information regarding the John Wild who was living with them in '61? Am I correct in assuming the Relation to Head column just said 'relation'? If so he couldn't be a brother of my Ann, because her mother died in 1839! Where was he born?

This was the only Ann Wild I could find who fitted with my own, but might now have to retrace my steps........

Thanks Star, doesn't seem to be mine either.... He appears to be living in Longnor in 1881 and married to a Harriet Belfield (Sarah's sister??).

Anyway, could you please check to see if John and Ann were siblings, or find either of them in the earlier censuses?
