hi could, some one do a look up for thomas greenwood b1837 in the 1901 census as i need to find out who was living with him,as i have a hunch it could well of been my grandfather william greenwood b1900. thanks paulettewinter

I have just looked at all Thomas Greenwoods born 1832-1842 in the 1901 census and found 61 results. Many of them are in Yorkshire. Do you have a rough location as slizzy said to help us help you?

There's two or three William G's born around Bradford in circa 1900, not in Manningham but Shipley and Keighley. Do you have any other info, ie parents' names?

that is a shame about willies birth, you see on my grandad wills marriage dec 1922, his fathers name is fred greenwood already deceased then,but the fred i always was intrested in was the fred b.dec 3.12.73 to thomas and ellen greenwood nee littlewood,fred was married to margaret emma hudson m june18 1892.9b 134.they had 3 children arthur8,mabel,7 nellie,4.they were living at 228 Gt horton Rd, Horton. fred was an apprentice hair dresser on the1891 census no sign of willie though.my grandfather willie b.14 jan 1900 he went in the navy when he was about 16 or 17yrs. thanks paulette

I was just wondering about your william greenwood, did he ever come to canada, on my dads birth certs,(born 1917) william greenwood and alice greenwood are listed as his god parents, i have a little more info about william if he happens to be yours.

i cant recall my grandad mentioning canada, but up to now is life seems to be a bit of a secret,but you never know he would be about sixteen at the the time if his birth date is right thanks paulette
