Hi Richie2021, Could this be their marriage? To get further back you will need to buy the marriage certificate, which will give fathers' names and occupations.

    HORTON John Williams Wolverhampton 6b1225

Hi, you can order certificates online at a cost of £7 from this website.

    http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/

You have all the details to order ie. names, year and quarter of marriage, vol no 6b, page no 1225. Once you have the certificate we can then go further back. The certificate should tell you fathers' names, occupations, and ages of the couple at time of marriage. I did look at birth indexes around 1900, but there was more than one possibility for both John and Florence May, the cert will help narrow it down.

Good luck, when you receive the cert, if you need more help don't hesitate in getting back with the detais, als if there's any other help you need, you've only to ask.
