    Hello Gilly,

Sorry, but I'm not familiar with the churches in Somerset, perhaps someone else on AA may be able to give you more help.

I've had a look on this web site, which you may have already tried, so forgive me if you have

    www.achurchnearyou.com

In the search box type in Ditcheat, click on St Mary Magdalene, on the drop down list on "Maps and Directions", click on "Parish Map with Parish boundary" and it will show the distance between Ditcheat and Ansford.

Again, you may have found on the IGI a William Bond baptised 21 November 1713 at Ashbrittle, Somerset, but unfortunately it doesn't give any parents names. You can try the above web site to find the location of Ashbrittle to Ditcheat and Ansford.

    Hope this helps
