looking for any info on my 3xg grandmother any help very much appreciated please.

Name Elinor Crawford b c1779 Scotland i have searched scotlands people with no luck. it is believed she was the daughter of the earl of balcarres and crawford and lived at haigh hall .as there is a place named little scotland near there i wonder if she may have been born there.

she ran off with the stable hand and was disinherited. the stable hand was Robert Stephenson b 1773 snaith would also like to find a marriage for them.

i don't realy have any info on Elinor Crawford only what i put on the message board's. as she married Robert Stephenson my gg gran was Ann Stephenson.

would be interesting to know if you are related and can find any info on her this is one brick wall i am stuck with.
