Thread: Laughton of Deptford

Morning all,



Looking for the family of James Laughton, boot/shoemaker of Deptford. The last known address I have for him is in 1826 in Flagon Row, however he was still living in Deptford in 1837 (whether at the same address or not I don't know). Pigot's Directory for 1840 lists an Andrew Laughton, bootmaker, at 27 Flagon Row, Deptford, who may be a connection.



Could someone please check for census details for James & Andrew - no ages unfortunately, but they would've been born 1780s ish...

Helen never married, she died 1877, reg'd Greenwich

Janet married Alexander Watt or Francis Harry Ritherdon 1860, reg'd Greenwich
