Thread: Birth Registration

Hi



I have a person in my tree whose birth quarter is completely missing on the BMD. He was Michael Sullivan (deceased) born on 1st July, 1933. I have looked for him in the two following quarters, but cannot find him there either. What else can I do to find out the names of his parents ?



Any help would be appreciated.

Do you have an area please? Four Michael Sullivan's were registered Jul-Sept 1933.

Alternatively its possible he wasn't registered under the surname Sullivan.

Were you looking on Ancestry ? Sometimes a quarter does not show, but it unusual for it to be missing.



1. Look for the surname on one of the quarters either side and note the image number.

2. Click on the year shown above.

3. Choose the quarter that you want

4. Click on the first letter of the surname you want

5. When it opens change the image number to the one you took note of.

6. You may then have to change the image number until you find it.
