Thread: Hit a brick wall with McConnells!!!

Hi my name is Kerryanne and i am currently seeking McConnell surnames possibly from Belfast, Northern Ireland. The only link i currently have is my Grandad Thomas Hugh McConnell who was Born around 1929, he moved to Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, England seeking work. Met and married Gwendoline Ruth Knight in 1954/5. This family could have possible links to the surname Bailey from a street called Ambleside Avenue, Belfast, Northern Ireland . I unfortunately have no knowledge of the belfast area as i am from Stoke on Trent, England.

If you get your grandparents' marriage certificate, it will give Thomas' father's name and occupation which will help you to find the right set of McConnells.
